INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATES PROGRAM
We are seeking support from Industrial Associates to help fund the joint Russian-PRI research program and supplement current and future National Science Foundation and other funding. PRI is a nonprofit organization within Boise State University, with a separate operating account funded solely by contributions and research grants. PRI also has an account with the Boise State University Foundation to facilitate outside funding. All funds generated through Industrial Associate membership, negotiated projects, and data packages are paid to the BSU Foundation and used solely by PRI to support continued research and education efforts.
Industrial associates have direct access to all research, including preliminary results of ongoing work, visiting Russian scientists and translations. We anticipate that during the next five years, research projects involving petroleum companies, PRI and Russian colleagues and institutions will be expanded. In addition to direct funding support for PRI, we solicit cooperative research projects with industry geologists and geophysicists who work on various aspects of Russian geology.
The table on the following page outlines Industrial Associate membership possibilities.
